Bhubaneswar: Three Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers are relieved from their State Government duties to take up assignments with the Government of India.
Ms. Shalini Pandit, IAS (OD:2001), Commissioner-cum-Secretary to Government, School & Mass Education Department, with the additional charge of Commissioner-cum-Secretary to Government, Department of Mission Shakti, is relieved from the State Government effective October 13, 2025 (Afternoon). She is set to join her new assignment as Joint Secretary, Department of Financial Services, Ministry of Finance, for a tenure of five years.
Shri Samarth Verma, IAS (OD:2011), Director, Minor Minerals, with the additional charge of Managing Director, Odisha Film Development Corporation, is also relieved from the State Government effective October 13, 2025 (Afternoon). He will take up the post of Director in the Ministry of Ports, Shipping & Waterways, Delhi, under the Central Staffing Scheme for five years.
Ms. Swadha Dev Singh, IAS (OD:2014), Managing Director, Odisha Lift Irrigation Corporation Ltd., with the additional charge of Additional Secretary to Government, Water Resources Department, is relieved effective October 13, 2025 (Afternoon). She is moving to a new assignment in the Government of India as Director of Census Operation (DCO) / Director of Citizen Registration (DCR) in the office of the Registrar General of India (RGI) (Headquarters), New Delhi. Her tenure is up to December 31, 2025, which is further extendable up to the admissible tenure under the Central Staffing Scheme.
