Bhubaneswar: An all-party delegation of Odisha Legislative Assembly headed by Speaker Bikram Keshari Arukh have left for New Delhi on Tuesday to felicitate newly elected President Droupadi Murmu.
Mr.Arukh said as per the program the MLAs are scheduled to meet the President, the daughter of Odisha and pride of the state at 11.30 am on Wednesday and felicitate her.
They would also seek the cooperation of the President for the development of the State, he said.
The members of the BJD, BJP and the Congress have already left for Delhi.
The Odisha Legislative Assembly had passed a unanimous resolution on July 25 congratulating Droupadi Murmu for assuming the top constitutional post of the country.
