Bhubaneswar: The three-day State Youth Festival 2025 reached a grand conclusion at Kalinga Stadium today, celebrating the immense talent and creative spirit of Odisha’s youth.
Secretary Tourism, Shri Balwant Singh and Director Higher Education, Shri Kali Prasanna Mahapatra honoured the winners. They honored the top performers, including three winners each in painting and writing categories, five science innovators, and multiple folk troupes.
The winners identified during this three-day extravaganza will now prepare to represent Odisha at the national level. They are set to participate in the Viksit Bharat Youth Leadership Dialogue in New Delhi, an opportunity that the department have positioned as a vital stepping stone for the state’s future leaders and architects of progress.
Organized by the Department of Sports and Youth Services, the event was spearheaded by Minister Sports & Youth Services, Shri Suryabanshi Suraj and coordinated by Shri Sachin Ramchandra Jadhav, Secretary, Sports & Youth Services, whose administrative leadership was instrumental in mobilizing over 800 participants from all 30 districts.
The festival provided a structured platform for young minds to compete in seven diverse categories, including fine arts, science exhibitions, folk music, and literary competitions. His coordination ensured that the event served its core purpose of identifying and nurturing grassroots talent while fostering a sense of cultural pride and innovation.
During the valedictory session, Secretary, Shri Jadhav was joined by other senior officials including Director of Sports Dr. Yedula Vijay and Additional Secretaries Shri Bijay Kumar Swain and Shri Ashok Kumar Panda.
