Bhubaneswar:As on date, 1 crore 20 thousand women beneficiaries of Odisha have registered under subhadra yojana.
Deputy Chief Minister and Minister for Women and Child Development Prabhati Parida said that it would be a great achievement to register more than one crore beneficiaries under the landmark “Subhadra” scheme launched by Hon’ble Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
On 9 October, Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi will hand over the first installment of Subhadra Yojana in the second phase to more than 35 lakh beneficiaries at Baripada.
In addition, arrangements were made to send one rupee to the bank accounts of the eligible beneficiaries on an experimental basis to check whether the bank accounts of the beneficiaries are functional or not and to check the cleanliness. However, the department has clarified that no such system has been started for the second phase so far.
The department is requesting not to be misled by this fake news circulating on social media. For all the updated news related to “Subhadra” scheme, follow the official website of “Subhadra” or call the toll free number (14678).
