Bhubaneswar: Ahead of General and Assembly elections, the State Government today affected a major reshuffle among IAS officers. The Government has appointed two new RDCs and District Collectors in 17 districts.
Ace Administrator Srikanta Prusty has been appointed as Revenue Divisional Commissioner (RDC) Northern Division Samablpur.
Shri Prusty was Special Secretary in Department of Panchayati Raj and Drinking Water.
SJTA Chief Administrator Ranjan Kumar Das has been appointed as the Revenue Divisional Commissioner (Central Division), Cuttack while Puri Collector Samarth Verma has been appointed as Additional Chief Administrator, SJTA, Puri.
Ranjan Das will also remain in additional charge of Revenue Divisional commissioner (Southern Division), Berhampur.
RDC Berhampur Temjenwapang Ao has been appointed as Secretary Public Enterprises.
As per a notification issued by the GA Department, Secretary, State Election Commission, Bhubaneswar, Bijay Kumar Das is the new Puri Collector.
Khurda Collector K Sudarshan Chakravarthy has been appointed as Director of Minor Minerals.
Balangir Collector Chanchal Rana will replace him as Khurda Collector. Gaurav Shivaji Isalwar, CDO-cum-EO, Zilla Parishad, Koraput, has been appointed as Balangir Collector.
Commissioner, Cuttack Municipal Corporation (CMC), Nikhil Pavan Kalyan has been appointed as Director, Rural Development.
Angul Collector Siddharth Shankar Swain will replace him as CMC Commissioner.
Koraput Collector Md.Abdaal Akthar has been transferred to Angul. CDO-cum-E0 ‘Zilla Parishad’, Ganjam, Keerthi Vasan has been appointed as Koraput Collector.
Bargarh Collector Monisha Banerjee has been appointed as Director, Social Welfare. Her predecessor Lingraj Panda has been appointed Joint Secretary to Government, Cooperation Department.
Aditya Goyal, CDO-cum-EO, Zilla Parishad, Bargarh has been appointed collector of Bargarh.
Similarly, Keonjhar Collector Ashish Thakare has been transferred to Mayurbhanj, while IAS officer Vineet Bharadwaj is the new Cuttack Collector, replacing Narahari Sethy, who has been posted as Additional Secretary to Government, Water Resources Department.
2016 Batch IAS Vishal Singh will replace Shri Thakare as Keonjhar Collector.
Sambalpur Collector Ananya Das has been appointed as Joint Secretary, Handloom Textiles & Handicrafts Department. Mayurbhanj ADM, Akshay Sunil Agrawal is the Collector of Sambalpur.
Rayagada Collector Swadha Dev Singh has been posted as Nayagarh Collector. Manoj Satyawan Mahajan, CDO-cum-EO, Zilla Parishad, Sundargarh, has been placed as Rayagada Collector.
Moreover, Commissioner of Berhampur Municipal Corporation, J Sonal has been appointed as Collector of Boudh. Madhumita, Sub-Collector, Baliguda with additional charge of Executive officer, NAC, Baliguda, will replace her.
Nrusingha Charan Swain, an OAS officer serving as Boudh collector, has been posted as Special Secretary to Government, Revenue & DM Department.

Kulakarni Ashutosh C, Sub-Collector, Berhampur with additional charge of Administrator, Jama Masjid, Berhampur has been appointed as Commissioner, Rourkela Municipal Corporation.
Madhumita, Sub-Collector, Baliguda with additional charge of Executive Officer, NAC, Baliguda has been appointed as Commissioner, Berhampur Municipal Corporation.
Bibhuti Bhusan Nayak, Sub-Collector, Kuchinda with additional charge of Executive Officer, NAC, Kuchinda has been appointed as Additional District Magistrate (ADM), Mayurbhanj.
