Bhubaneswar: More than sixty leaders and HR professionals representing different corporate organisations attended Leadership Conclave Allyship++ organised by Siksha ‘O’ Anusandhan Deemed to be University (SOA) at Hyderabad on Friday.
The event, held with the objective of bridging the gap between academia and the corporate world, was graced by former Indian cricketer Arshad Ayub as chief guest who highlighted the importance of leadership and collaboration in the present dynamic business environment.
Prominent among the panelists included Rohit Adlakha, CXO Advisor at Human Edge (Enterprises), Lavanam Amballa, Talent Acquisition Strategist at Integraminds, Pushkala Balasubramanian, Vice-President (Engineering) at Kloudgin, Kiranmal Pendyala, a former Strategic Thought Leader at UPS, Umesh Udayaprakash, Group Vice-President at Innova and Bapuji Maringanti, Scientist at CSIR.
Allyship++ provided a unique platform for academic and corporate leaders to share their experiences, network and collaborate on future initiatives.
The speakers shared their valuable insights on Allyship and how it could be practised at work place as well as in personal life. They also underlined the need to practice Allyship at the organizational level.
The need for closer cooperation between academic institutions and corporate entities to foster innovation and growth was emphasized throughout the conclave.
Prof. (Dr.) Raj Kumr Hota, Dean, Placement, Career Development and Indusry Collaboration, was the Convenor of the event while Dr. P.K.Patra, Dean, Sponsored Research and Industry Consultancy, was also present.
