SNM Pavilion: Innovation Meets Growth

Bhubaneswar: The industrial landscape of Eastern India received a significant focus on November 25, 2025, with the inauguration of the two-day Samruddha Odisha 2036 Conclave. Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi officially opened the Meet, setting a tone of government support and optimism for the state’s economic trajectory.

Organized by the Utkal Chamber Of Commerce & Industry (UCCIL) under the dynamic leadership of Dr. Prabodh Kumar Mohanty, the Conclave is positioned as a pivotal initiative to showcase Odisha’s industrial potential and its progress toward shaping the national industrial map.

Dr. Mohanty, who also serves as the Managing Director of the leading Mining and Industry Conglomerate, SNM Group, stated that the event is directly aimed at leveraging the state’s strengths for future growth.

The Chief Minister’s visit to the SNM Group Pavilion, where he was received by Dr. Mohanty, underscored the importance of private sector engagement. Shri Majhi expressed appreciation for the dedicated efforts of Odisha’s entrepreneurs and investors.

The masterpiece pavilion, conceived by Sunny Chatterjee of Party Time, successfully captured attention and became a major focal point, vividly detailing the growth of the SNM Group—the fastest-growing industrial conglomerate in the Eastern Region.

The substantive core of the Conclave lies in its comprehensive agenda of panel discussions. These sessions are designed to facilitate in-depth exploration of diverse, high-potential sectors. Key topics include dissecting Odisha’s investment potential, navigating the risks and rewards inherent in innovation, and unlocking the state’s overall economic capacity. Strategic areas such as prospects in the defence sector, optimization of logistics and transportation infrastructure, and the potential of new-generation industrial and export markets are also central to the discussions.

Furthermore, the Conclave addresses vital contemporary themes: improving the ease of doing business through digitization and Artificial Intelligence, and promoting women empowerment through entrepreneurship. The participation of industry leaders, technical experts, seasoned entrepreneurs, and government officials ensures a holistic examination of both the possibilities and the challenges across these crucial sectors, signaling a concerted effort to lay a robust foundation for the state’s 2036 vision.
