SJTA Directive For Employees

Puri:  To maintain an office decorum, Shree Jagannath Temple Administration (SJTA) Chief Administrator Dr Arabinda Padhee has issued a five-point directive aimed at ensuring accountability and transparency among temple employees.

Dr Padhee asked the employees not to consume betel, chew gutka, or drink alcohol while on duty. Senior officers will assess employees’ work and file a report on the third Friday of every month.

All employees are required to submit their property declaration for the year 2024 by the end of January. Employees must wear handloom-made clothing every Friday, he further ordered.

The use of mobile phones within the temple premises is prohibited, except for uniformed personnel, such as the Jagannath Temple Police. The directive also states that employees found violating these rules will face penalties, including the suspension of incentives, increments, and other financial benefits, the Chief Administrator further directed.
