Puri: Union Minister for Finance & Corporate Affairs Nirmala Sitharaman took spiritual visit of Shree Jagannath Temple and held Darshan of Trinity here on 17 August.
Union Education and Skill Development & Entrepreneurship Minister, Dharmendra Pradhan accompanied her.
Darshan at Shree Mandira was organized in a well planned manner and both the Ministers took part in the spiritual visit to the revered Shree Mandira and paid homage to centuries of tradition.
Later Shrimati Sitharaman and Shri Pradhan visited Sand Art on “Meri Maati Mera Desh” by Sand Artist Sudarshan Patnaik.
Both of them enjoyed the enthralling beauty of the “Meri Maati Mera Desh” theme being portrayed through mesmerizing sand art created by renowned Sand Artist Shri Patnaik.
This captivating display will adorn the sands of Blue Flag Beach, Mayfair, Puri.
She participated in Plantation Drive and Panch Pran Pledge.
Both the Ministers joined a commendable environmental initiative, a plantation drive and the solemn Panch Pran Pledge – hosted within the serene confines of the Central Sanskrit University’s Residential Complex, Shri Sadashiva Campus, Near Penthakata, Puri.
Both the Ministers visited the Birthplace of Noted Freedom Fighter Saheed Jayee Rajguru and joined Amrit Kalash Yatra.
Shrimati Sitharaman and Shri Pradhan honored the legacy of freedom by visiting the birthplace of the illustrious Saheed Jayee Rajguru and embarking on the symbolic Amrit Kalash Yatra at Biraharekrushnapur, Puri.
BJP National spokesperson Sambit Patra, Puri and Brahmagiri Lawmakers joined the program.
