Shalini Pandit Gets DFS

Bhubaneswar: The Department of Personnel and Training has officially announced the appointment of Shalini Pandit, an IAS officer from the 2001 batch of the Odisha cadre, as Joint Secretary in the Department of Financial Services(DFS) .

The appointment is effective from the date she assumes the charge of the post and is for a tenure of five years, or until further orders, whichever is earlier.

Ms. Pandit is currently serving as Secretary in the School and Mass Education Department and will also continue to hold additional charge as Secretary for the Mission Shakti Department.

She has been noted for her work ethics, integrity, and for being highly respected within her cadre.

Ms. Pandit’s career has included various key roles, such as serving as the Secretary for the Health & Family Welfare Department and as Mission Director for the National Health Mission.

Her dedication to work was recognized and appreciated during COVID-19, when Odisha faced one of the biggest health crisis.

Her new role is expected to benefit from her extensive experience and leadership.
