Shah Slams BJD Govt.

Sonepur: In his maiden visit to Odisha ahead of twin elections, BJP top brass and Union Home Minister Amit Shah strongly criticised the BJD Government and called for its uprooting and formation of Odisha’s first BJP government for State’s faster development and restoration of State’s language and cultural glory.

Launching BJP election campaigning in the State, Shri Shah said “Those who can’t take pride in their own state’s language, literature and culture, can’t take Odisha forward. The BJD government not only deprived Odisha of development but also indulged in massive corruption through officers.”

Though Odisha is rich in mineral and water resources, people from Odisha were still migrating to other States like Gujarat, Mumbai, and Punjab for work.

“A double engine govt will ensure world-class industries, investments and irrigation for the entire farmland,” he said and asked people to give BJP a chance for five years to make Odisha India’s Number One state,” he appealed to the voters.

Shri Shah also slammed the BJD Government for attempting to divert attention from the Pran Pratishtha ceremony at the historic Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Mandir in Ayodhya.

Union Minister Home Affairs further alleged that Naveen Patnaik is reluctant to implement Ayushman Bharat scheme fearing the soaring popularity of PM Modi in the State. “The government also tried to appropriate all central schemes, including subsidised rice scheme and houses under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, by putting its own stickers on them,” he said.

Exuding confidence that BJP will win at least 20 Lok Sabha seats and will also get majority in Vidhan Sabha and form government on its own, Shah asked people to give BJP a chance for five years to make Odisha India’s No1 State.

Stating Modi-wave has gripped the entire country as people want to see him (Narendra Modi) as the Prime Minister for the third time, Shri Shah said, “The wave can be felt in Odisha as well. I am confident that the State will give more than 20 Lok Sabha seats to the BJP.”
