Bhubaneswar: Renowned entrepreneur Shri Chandra Sekhar Chitrala delivered an inspiring address titled “Entrepreneurship as a Career Option” at the College of Engineering Bhubaneswar (COEB), a unit of Koustuv Group of Institutions, on September 23, 2026. The session was organized by the Entrepreneurship Development Cell in the college conference room from 3 PM to 5 PM.
Shri Chandra Sekhar Chitrala, who serves as the Founder and CEO of AlumNetworks and the Managing Director of Catalyst IT Solutions, brought over three decades of business leadership experience to the event. Drawing from his journey as an entrepreneur since 1992, he shared invaluable insights with young students on approaching entrepreneurship as a deliberate and structured career path rather than a speculative risk. He emphasized that critical capabilities, professional networks, and a healthy tolerance for uncertainty can be actively cultivated within educational institutions.
Addressing contemporary challenges posed by rapid advancements in artificial intelligence, Shri Chandra Sekhar urged the youth to equip themselves with strategic thinking and adaptable skill sets to navigate evolving market dynamics. He encouraged students to adopt a founder’s mindset early in their academic journey to effectively build innovative ventures for the future.
