Bhubaneswar: The Central Election Committee of Congress today announced candidates for four more MLA seats in Odisha.
The party has nominated Debendra Kumar Sahoo for Mahanga MLA seat. Shri Sahoo is also the Secretary of All Odisha Private Bus Owners’ Association. He is Member of OPCC Disciplinary Committee.
AICC has chosen Manoj Rath as its nominee from Satyabadi in Puri district.
Prakash Chandra Jena and Ashok Kumar Das have been named as candidates for Bhubaneswar Central and Bhubaneswar North constituencies, respectively.
So far, the grand old party has announced MLA candidates for 126 of the 147 seats in the State. The party has vacated two seats for CPI (M) and JMM as part of the INDI alliance.
The party has nominated candidates for 17 Lok Sabha seats out of 21 MP segments. The party has yet to name candidates for Mayurbhanj, Sambalpur, Cuttack and Aska MP seats.
