Bhubaneswar: Rayagada District has been recognized as a “Champion of Change” and awarded a substantial Rs.5 crore grant under the Overall Category of the Aspirational Districts Programme by NITI Aayog.
In a post on its official X handle, NITI Aayog showcased Rayagada’s multi-sectoral development model, praising the district’s commitment to inclusive and sustainable growth. “With a community-driven approach, innovative solutions and impactful initiatives, Rayagada is creating sustainable change and setting new benchmarks for holistic development,” read the post, which was also liked by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
This prestigious accolade celebrates Rayagada’s remarkable progress in achieving inclusive and sustainable development, driven by impactful community-centric initiatives taken by Team Rayagada headed by District Collector Parul Patwari.
