Bhubasneswar: Ace Administrator NBS Rajput has been appointed as Principal Secretary to Governor of Odisha.
On return after successful Central Deputation tenure Shri Rajput has been assigned the new Assignment in Raj Bhawan, Odisha.
Department of General Administration and Public Grievances has notified his new assignment.
Shri Rajput is an Indian Administrative Services (IAS) officer of Odisha Cadre of 1999 Batch.
He has an experience of more than 24 years in Civil Service in various sectors and Departments at the Federal and States level of the Government.
Shri NBS Rajput was recently holding the post of Joint Secretary in the Department of Administrative Reforms and Public Grievances (DARPG).
Shri Rajput has worked as Revenue Divisional Commissioner, Sambalpur and as Commissioner, Land Records & Settlement Department, Cuttack in Odisha prior to joining in DARPG.
He has also worked as Director, National Rural Livelihood Mission, Bhubaneswar and as Divisional Commissioner and District Magistrate of various districts of Odisha and Madhya Pradesh.
Shri Rajput has also served as Municipal Commissioner, Gwalior and Jabalpur (Madhya Pradesh).
Shri Rajput is a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from MANIT Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh).
His long experience on both States and Centre will be helpful to maintain smooth relationship with the State Administration and Raj Bhawan, feel Administrative Experts.
