Cuttack: Pankaj Lochan Mohanty, President Odisha Cricket Association (OCA) has announced appointment of R Srikanth as Techical Director of Odisha Cricket Academy for the season 2022-23.
The CAC meeting held today reviewed all the profiles applied for the post of Tech. Director & decided to appoint R Srikanth for the post based on his rich Coaching Experience, Expertise & Credentials.
Mr. Srikanth is the only BCCI Level-3 certified Coach from Odisha having rich experience in coaching for about 20 years.
Prior to joining Odisha Cricket Association, he has worked as a Coach with various states, NCA & ZCA. He has also coached different age group teams of Odisha & was In- Charge of Odisha Cricket Academy.
Mr. Srikanth was a former Ranji Trophy player of Odisha. He has also educated the aspiring Level-1 & Level-2 coaches of Odisha for the NCA programs.
Further It may be intimated that Wasim Jaffer will be continuing as the Head Coach of Ranji Trophy for the season 2022-23.
Pankaj Lochan Mohanty President, Sanjay Behera, Secretary and all other Office Bearers of OCA have wished them well for their future assignment.
In the meantime Junior Selection Committee of BCCI have scouted the following players of Odisha Cricket Association for the NCA Program which is scheduled from 9 May to 2 June, 2022.
The National Cricket Academy, Bangalore will communicate the venue shortly.
List of Players include Ashirwad Swain, Sushil Barik, Anshuman Sahu, Saideep Mohapatra and Aditya K Singh
