Bhubaneswar: President of India, Droupadi Murmu, is scheduled to visit Odisha tomorrow to grace a programme in Nayagarh and visit Kantilo Nilamadhab.
As per schedule, the President would depart from Chhattisgarh at 12.30 PM for Bhubaneswar and arrive here at Biju Patnaik International Airport at 1.30 PM.
Directly from the airport, she will move to Nayagarh district by a special IAF chopper. She will reach the Paltan Ground helipad at 2.10 PM.
Shrimati Murmu will visit the famous Nilamadhaba Temple, Kantilo at 3 PM for darshan of deity after having rest at Kantilo Guest House. She will spend some time at the temple.
After visiting the temple, the President will leave for Bharatiya Biswabasu Shabar Samaj Foundation at Kaliapalli in Nayagarh, where she is scheduled to grace the Foundation ceremony as the chief guest.
She is scheduled to depart the venue at 4.45 PM and reach the Paltan Ground helipad. Then, she will proceed to Bhubaneswar airport and leave for Raj Bhawan here, where she is scheduled to have dinner and night halt.
The President is scheduled to leave Bhubaneswar airport at 9.20 AM on March 25 and head for Delhi by the special IAF flight.
The Odisha Police have made elaborate security arrangements in Bhubaneswar and Nayagarh for the visit of Murmu.
Briefing media persons here today, Bhubaneswar DCP Jagmohan Meena said the Commissionerate Police has arranged security at key locations, including the Bhubaneswar airport, Raj Bhavan, and along the route. All arrangements have been finalized, he said.
The security deployment will include three senior officers of DCP or SP rank, three Additional DCP-level officers, 14 DSP or ACP-level officers, 28 inspectors, 110 sub-inspectors or ASIs, and a 12-platoon police force to ensure the safety and security of the President during her visit, the DCP said.
