Pradhan Leads Bengal Campaign

Jhargarm: As the 2026 West Bengal Legislative Assembly election campaign intensifies, Union Minister Shri Dharmendra Pradhan has taken a central role in steering the BJPs strategy, today leading a high-profile meeting and discussion in Jhargram.

The event featured a significant presence from neighboring Odisha, including Odisha Minister of Housing and Urban Development Dr. Krushna Chandra Mahapatra and a dedicated team from Mayurbhanj, signaling a cross-border push to bolster the party’s grassroots strength in the Jangalmahal region.

During the meeting, which also included expatriate workers and regional representatives, Shri Pradhan emphasized that the dedication of ground-level workers remains the party’s greatest asset. He expressed firm confidence that this collective cooperation would pave the way for a political shift in the state. Shri Pradhan stated his belief that a change in governance is imminent, promising the eventual construction of a new, developed Bengal.

The Union Minister, known for his aggressive leadership and previous success in managing election strategies in Bihar, is now applying a similar localized approach to West Bengal. By integrating lawmakers like Dr. Mohapatra and veteran campaigners from Mayurbhanj into the Jhargram circuit, the party aims to tap into the cultural and geographical links between the two states.

This collaborative effort in Jhargram highlights the BJPs broader “Parivartan” agenda. Shri Pradhan remains a pivotal figure in this campaign, often appearing alongside other state leaders to challenge the current administration on issues of governance and regional development. As nominations begin and the election machinery moves into high gear, the inclusion of neighboring leaders suggests a strategic move to consolidate support among the diverse working-class and tribal populations of the border districts.
