New Delhi: Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi today chaired the NDA Chief Ministers’ Conclave in Delhi, a high-level meeting attended by approximately 20 Chief Ministers and 18 Deputy Chief Ministers from NDA-ruled states.
The conclave focused on accelerating development trajectories and ensuring the effective delivery of “Double-Engine Government” benefits to the populace.
Odisha Chief Minister Shri Mohan Charan Majhi was among the prominent attendees at the conclave. Notably, Shri Majhi had a separate meeting with Prime Minister Modi yesterday (Saturday, May 24, 2025), where they discussed the holistic progress of Odisha with a strong emphasis on accelerating growth in infrastructure, welfare, and employment.
During his meeting with the Prime Minister, CM Shri Majhi also expressed gratitude for PM Modi’s unwavering support and inspiring vision for Odisha’s development. Deputy Chief Ministers K V Singh Deo and Parvati Parida attended the Meet.
In a series of posts on X (formerly Twitter), the Prime Minister shared insights from today’s conclave. He stated, “Participated in the NDA Chief Ministers’ Conclave in Delhi. We had extensive deliberations about various issues. Various states showcased their best practices in diverse areas including water conservation, grievance redressal, strengthening administrative frameworks, education, women empowerment, sports and more. It was wonderful to hear these experiences.”
Emphasizing the core agenda, he further wrote, “I emphasised the need to add momentum to our development trajectories and ensure the benefits of a double-engine government reach the people in an effective manner. Spoke about building stronger synergies in key areas be it cleanliness, sanitation, healthcare, youth empowerment, agriculture, technology and more.”
The “Double-Engine Government” refers to the alignment of the ruling party at both the state and central levels, a concept frequently championed by the Prime Minister to ensure synchronized efforts and faster implementation of development projects.
The conclave served as a crucial platform for Chief Ministers and Deputy Chief Ministers from NDA-Governed states to share innovative approaches, learn from best practices, and foster stronger collaboration across various sectors, aiming to enhance governance and service delivery nationwide.
