PM Greets Odisha CM

Bhubaneswar: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday extended his heartfelt birthday greetings to Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi as the state leader entered his 54th year.

In a message that underscores the strategic alignment between the union and state administrations, the Prime Minister commended Majhi for his dedicated efforts in steering the growth trajectory of Odisha and his specific focus on the socio-economic empowerment of the youth.

The Prime Minister’s commendation reflects a broader systemic synthesis of governance where grassroots leadership is leveraged to accelerate regional development.

Born in 1972 in the Keonjhar district and belonging to the Santal tribal community, Chief Minister Shri Majhi’s political trajectory from a village sarpanch to the head of the state government is being cited as a narrative of democratic mobility and meritocratic service.

During his tenure since June 2024, the Chief Minister has focused on infrastructure enhancement and inclusive policies aimed at integrating the marginalized sections into the mainstream economy.
