New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi presented a replica of the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya and holy water to Prime Minister Kamla Persad-Bissessar during a dinner hosted in his honour.

The holy water included samples from both the Saryu River, which flows through Ayodhya, and from the Mahakumbh Mela held in Prayagraj.

Prime Minister Shri Modi shared details of the exchange on X (formerly Twitter), stating, “At the dinner hosted by Prime Minister Kamla Persad-Bissessar, I presented a replica of the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya and holy water from the Saryu river as well as from the Mahakumbh held in Prayagraj. They symbolise the deep cultural and spiritual bonds between India and Trinidad & Tobago.”

This gesture underscores the strong cultural and spiritual ties that connect India and Trinidad & Tobago, highlighting shared heritage and mutual respect.

The Ram Mandir holds significant religious importance for Hindus worldwide, and the Saryu River and Mahakumbh Mela are revered sites and events in Hindu tradition.
