PM Chairs Security Meet

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi today chaired a high-level security meeting at his official residence, 7, Lok Kalyan Marg, in New Delhi. The meeting focused on reviewing the prevailing security scenario and strategizing for future challenges.  

Key figures attending the crucial meeting included Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, National Security Advisor (NSA) Ajit Doval, Chief of Defence Staff (CDS) General Anil Chauhan, and the chiefs of the armed forces, along with other senior government officials.  

The Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) confirmed the meeting via a post on social media platform X, stating, “A high level meeting was chaired by PM @narendramodi at 7, Lok Kalyan Marg. Those who attended the meeting included Defence Minister @rajnathsingh, NSA Ajit Doval, CDS General Anil Chauhan, armed forces chiefs and senior officials.”  

While the specific details of the discussions were not immediately released, the presence of top defence and security personnel indicates a comprehensive review of the nation’s security apparatus. The meeting is understood to have covered a range of strategic issues, including border security, internal security, and evolving geopolitical dynamics.  

This high-level consultation underscores the Union Government’s commitment to maintaining a robust and vigilant national security framework amidst complex global and regional challenges.
