Bhubaneswar: There is a rising trend so far Per Capita Income, at Current Prices in the State is concerned.
According to latest information available, while Per Capita Net State Domestic Product at current prices of Odisha indicate increasing trend, an official said.
For last three years, it is increasing continuously for the State of Odisha.
While it was Rs.1,02,166 in 2020-21, it went up to Rs.1,28,873 in 2021-22 and it has increased to Rs.1,50,676 during 2022-23.
The Base Year for such an estimate has been 2011-12 and estimates prepared by the State Government shows the rising trend.
As compared to neighboring States, Odisha has performed well. Odisha economy is now robust and scaling high, says a senior official.
So far West Bengal is concerned, it was Rs.1,06,510 during 2020-21, Rs.1,24,798 during 2021-22 and Rs.1,41,373 during 2022-23.
So far Madhya Pradesh is concerned, it was Rs.1,03,654 during 2020-21 and during 2021-22, it was Rs.1,21,594 and during 2022-23 it was Rs.1,40,583.
So far Chhattisgarh is concerned it was Rs.1,04,788 during 2020-21, and it was Rs.1,20,704 in 2021-22 and Rs.1,33,898 during 2022-23.
Statistics reveal that Per capita Net State Domestic Product of Jharkhand during 2020-21 was Rs.71,071, during 2021-22, it was 78,660.
So far these states are concerned, Per Capita Income is presenting an increasing trend, which is a positive sign, admit Financial analysts.
However Per capita Net State Domestic Product at Constant Prices with Base Year of 2011-12 is less, admit they.
So far Odisha is concerned, it was Rs.70,877 during 2020-21, Rs.79,899 during 2021-22 and Rs.86,512 during 2022-23, said the Fiscal Report.
