Padhee Mantra For Students

Bhubaneswar: DAV Public School, Pokhariput, has celebrated its annual festival, “Bastani,” in the traditional manner with great enthusiasm.

The event was graced by Dr. Arabinda Kumar Padhee, Principal Secretary of Agriculture and Farmers Empowerment, who served as the Chief Guest.

Addressing the gathering, Dr. Padhee delivered a compelling five-point message to the students, parents, and teachers, focusing on creating an environment-friendly society. His advice underscored the need for: Preventing electricity misuse, Water conservation, Efficient use of food, Regular tree plantation and Use of biodegradable plastic.

Beyond environmental concerns, Dr. Padhee also urged everyone to transcend narrow-mindedness, show respect to individuals from all walks of life, and dedicate themselves to the welfare of the society with the attitude of a volunteer.

The festival commenced with the auspicious lighting of the lamp by the Chief Guest, accompanied by the recitation of Veda Mantras and the DAV song. Dr. Arun Kumar Rath, Chairman of the School Management Committee, extended a warm welcome to the dignitaries and attendees.

Dr.Rath is a former IAS Officer, who also served as Union Secretary School Education in Government of India.

The event saw the presence of other esteemed guests, including Shri Madan Mohan Panda, Chairman of DAV Kalinganagar, and Dr. Keshab Chandra Satapathy, Regional Director of DAV Odisha Group. They honored talented students and successful teachers for their work excellence.

Shri Bipin Kumar Sahu, Co-Regional Officer of DAV Zone F and Chairman of the school, presented the annual report, highlighting the various programs and achievements of the school during the current year. Special recognition was given to the talented students and successful teachers of Class X.

The audience highly appreciated the interesting cultural program presented by students from classes I to XII. Smriti Nayak, Co-Coordinator of the school’s cultural department, concluded the ceremony with the vote of thanks. The event witnessed the participation of chairmen and teachers from various DAV educational institutions.
