Bhubaneswar: The Government of Odisha, through its Commerce & Transport Department, officially entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) today with the Bhaskaracharya National Institute for Space Applications and Geo-informatics (BISAG-N).
The collaboration is aimed at preparing a comprehensive Odisha State Master Plan, aligning with the visionary PM Gati Shakti National Master Plan.
The signing ceremony was held with the attendance of several senior government officials, underscoring the importance of this initiative. Chief Secretary Odisha Shri Manoj Ahuja presided over the event, which also saw the presence of DC-cum-ACS Smt. Anu Garg, ACS GA&PG Department Shri Surendra Kumar, and Principal Secretary C&T Department Smt. Usha Padhee, alongside Secretaries from various Departments of the Government of Odisha.
Shri T. P. Singh, Director General of BISAG-N, and his team were present to represent the institute.
This partnership is being hailed as a major step toward integrated infrastructure planning and enhancing digital governance within the state.
The joint effort is expected to leverage technology and geo-informatics to create a future-ready Odisha through coordinated and holistic development of its infrastructure.
The PM Gati Shakti National Master Plan is a technology-enabled initiative focusing on multi-modal connectivity and infrastructure projects.
