Cuttack: The Odisha Public Service Commission (OPSC) today announced the result of Odisha Civil Services (OCS) Examination-2022. Swetashree Mohapatra has topped in the examination and there are 05 women candidates among the top 10 candidates.
A total of 683 candidates have cleared the OCS-2022. The result is available at the OPSC website www.opsc.gov.in. The Odisha Civil Services Examination is conducted in 3 phases i.e., Preliminary Examination, Main Examination and Personality Test.
The Advertisement for OCS, 2022 was released on December 30, 2022 for a total vacancy of 683 (227-women) posts, the OPSC said.
No. of candidates recommended under UR Category is 387 (142-w), SEBC-71 (23-w), SC-89 (36-w), ST-136 (57-w), Ex-SM-14, Sportsperson-1 and PWD-23 (05-w) against respective categories. Altogether 258 women candidates have been recommended in the select list, it said.
A total of 92,914 (34,712-w) aspirants were applied for OCS-2022, out of which 40,586 (14852-w) candidates appeared at the Preliminary Examination held on October 15, 2023 and 8220 (2730-w) candidates qualified in the Preliminary Examination.
The Commision said that the OCS (Main)-2022 written examination was conducted from February 25, 2024 to March 3, 2024 and 6639 (2337-w) candidates appeared in the Main Examination.
Out of which, 1367 (493-w) candidates were called for the document verification and personality test which was conducted in the office of the Commission from September 10 to October 7, 2024.
