Bhubaneswar: The results of Odisha Joint Entrance Examination (OJEE – 2022) have been published on Wednesday.
Skill Development and Technical Education Minister Pritiranjan Gharai has declared the results of OJEE – 2022 and released the Results Booklet here in the presence of the Principal Secretary Hemant Sharma, the Chairman and Secretary of OJEE and others.
The candidates can download their rank cards from the OJEE website (www.ojee.nic.in).
This year, a total 57,898 candidates registered for the examination, while 47,761 candidates (82.5%) appeared for the test. Out of these, 47,729 candidates have been allotted ranks in their corresponding courses as per their performance in the examination, said Gharai.
The authority has also released the toppers name. Shradharabinda Samantray of Jagatsinghpur emerged as the topper in MBA (Master of Business Administration) while Ishant Kumar Nayak secured the top position in MCA (Master of Computer Applications).
Similarly, Arup Kumar is the topper in B. Pharm, Sachin Nayak in M. Pharm, Sanjeev Pradhan in M. Tech (civil engineering), Pankaj Kumar and Ranjan Mohapatra in M.Tech (electronics) and M.Tech (mechanical) respectively.
The other master degree toppers include Shristi Nangalia (M.Arch), Dibyashree Upantanayika Mishra ( M. Plan), Sanjeev Pradhan (Civil Engg.), Mithun Adhikari (electrical Engg.), S Sanjib Kumar (Comp.Sc Engg/IT), Hariyali Behera (Chemical Engg), Masum Alli (Metallurgical Engg), Arka Ghosh (Environmental Engg), Subhashree Hota (Biotechnology), Jyoti Prakash Nayak (Plastic Engg) and Priyanka Ray (Textile Engg).
Candidates who have secured ranks can take part in OJEE counselling beginning from August 10 for admission to different technical and professional courses in government and private colleges of Odisha corresponding to their rank and other qualifying criteria.
All the candidates, who have been awarded ranks, can take part in OJEE counselling for admission to different technical / professional courses in Govt. and Private colleges/Institutes of Odisha corresponding to their rank and other qualifying criteria, he said.
This year, the Odisha Joint Entrance Examination (OJEE – 2022) was held during 4th July – 8th July, 2022, adopting all precautionary measures in compliance with relevant COVID guidelines.
The Entrance Examination was held for various technical / professional courses, such as B. Pharm, LE-Tech. (Dip), LE-Tech. (B.Sc.), B CAT (2 streams), MBA, MCA, Int. MBA, LE-Pharm., M. Pharm, M. Arch, M. Plan and M. Tech. (11 specialisations) running in different Government and Private Institutes / Universities of the State for the academic year 2022 – 23.
The Entrance Examination was conducted in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode for all the courses. Test centres were set up in all the 30 districts of the State with 61 Test Centres in 30 cities of the state as well as 4 centres in 3 (three) cities outside Odisha, namely, Kolkata, Ranchi and Patna.
