Bhubaneswar: In a significant stride towards digital governance and citizen-centric services, Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi today launched the innovative e-registration mobile app. Deputy Chief Minister K V Singh Deo, Minister Revenue & Disaster Management, Suresh Pujari graced the occasion.
This comprehensive application aims to revolutionize access to a multitude of revenue services, making them readily available at the fingertips of citizens. The launch was accompanied by the release of the annual success booklet of the Revenue and Disaster Management Department, highlighting its achievements over the past year.
Addressing the gathering, Chief Minister Shri Majhi emphasized the government’s commitment to leveraging modern technology for the ease and convenience of its people. He expressed immense satisfaction that the Revenue Department has developed this e-registration mobile app, which addresses crucial issues related to land registration and ownership.
The newly launched app is poised to simplify numerous processes for the public. Key features of the e-registration app include:
- Slot Booking for Registration Deeds: Citizens can now conveniently book slots for land registration deeds from the comfort of their homes, eliminating the need for physical queues and prolonged waiting periods at sub-registrar offices.
- Application for Certified Copies and EC (Encumbrance Certificates): The app enables users to apply for certified copies of documents and encumbrance certificates, essential for various land-related transactions.
- Access to Benchmark Market Value of Land: Users can easily ascertain the benchmark market value of land, promoting transparency and informed decision-making.
- Information on Sub-Registrar Offices: Complete information regarding sub-registrar offices, including contact details and services offered, is now readily accessible through the app.
Chief Minister Shri Majhi highlighted that this initiative marks a major milestone in the government’s efforts to provide digital services. He reiterated that since the current government came to power, significant reforms have been undertaken in the revenue administration sector, bringing revenue services closer to the people.
The annual success booklet released during the event showcases the progress and accomplishments of the Revenue and Disaster Management Department over the past year.
