New Delhi: Following a massive flash flood that swept through regions of Nepal on Wednesday, leaving hundreds of Indians missing, the Government of Odisha has initiated emergency support measures for citizens in distress.

The Office of the Chief Resident Commissioner in New Delhi has established a round-the-clock Control Room at Odisha Niwas. Persons from Odisha seeking assistance or information regarding affected individuals can reach out to the control center via mobile at +91 7428135044 or +91 8527580245, or through the landline at 011 23012807.

Additionally, Shri Pritish Panda, Officer on Special Duty at the Directorate of Odisha Paribar, has been appointed as the Nodal Officer to aid in the coordination and distribution of information. He can be contacted directly at +91 95833 21964.
