Bhubaneswar: The proposed Rajaswa Bhawan (State Revenue Administration Complex) took center stage during the review meeting chaired by Minister Shri Suresh Pujari, highlighting a major push to modernize the state’s administrative infrastructure alongside the strategic efforts led by Dr. Arabinda Kumar Padhee, Additional Chief Secretary of Revenue and Disaster Management.
ACS, Dr. Arabinda Kumar Padhee played a central role in driving the agenda, providing a detailed outline of the department’s expansive infrastructure strategy. His presentation covered not only the main administrative hubs but also vital supporting projects, including the development of an international-standard auditorium complex at the Revenue Officers’ Training Institute (ROTI) in Gothapatna and a new Special Circuit House in Bhubaneswar.
His efforts underscore a comprehensive vision to modernize institutional training, research capabilities, and administrative capacity across the department.
A major highlight of the meeting was the progress on the new Rajaswa Bhawan, planned near Kalpana Square in Bhubaneswar. Dr. Padhee’s briefing and the subsequent design review revealed that this upcoming ten-storey structure will serve as a modern, centralized hub for revenue administration.
It is designed to house essential facilities under one roof, including the Board of Revenue Camp Court and specialized courtrooms for officers handling various revenue cases. To facilitate departmental collaboration and official conferences, the building will also feature a state-of-the-art auditorium alongside other necessary support services.
Following the review of these plans, the Minister directed that the construction of Rajaswa Bhawan be prioritized and completed within a strict timeline of the next two years.
