It attracted a diverse group of individuals from various age groups and professional backgrounds. The discussion’s theme, “Independence as a Spectrum: From Personal Freedoms to Collective Rights,” encouraged a democratic and respectful exchange of personal experiences and viewpoints.

The session was led by Sandip Bal and Sonali Priyadarsini. Noted participants included historian and author Anil Dhir, as well as several young attendees like Akankshita, Anwesha, Pratiksha, Chanchal, Mitra, and Swatiswarupa.

Participants shared their perspectives on the different facets of independence, with some focusing on the state of personal freedom in the modern world and others highlighting the importance of collective rights.
