Bhubaneswar: The Samruddha Odisha 2036 Conclave successfully concluded, being hailed as a vibrant showcase of entrepreneurial spirit and a movement toward building a prosperous, resilient, and innovation-driven Odisha. The event drew praise for fostering collaborations, creating real-time business opportunities, and highlighting the state’s rapidly growing investment interest.

Dr. Prabodh Mohanty, President of the Utkal Chamber Of Commerce & Industry Limited (UCCIL), chaired the valedictory session and delivered key remarks, attributing the conclave’s “astounding success” to the collaborative efforts and the vision of the leadership.

The valedictory session was graced by Shri Kanak Vardhan Singh Deo, Deputy Chief Minister and Minister of Agriculture & Farmers’ Empowerment, Smt. Anu Garg, Development Commissioner, and Shri Vishal Kumar Dev, Principal Secretary, Electronics & IT and Energy Department.

“Samruddha Odisha Conclave was a vibrant showcase of entrepreneurial spirit, fostering collaborations and creating real-time business opportunities,” Dr. Mohanty stated. He pointed to the significant momentum already generated by previous efforts, noting, “Investment interest in Odisha is growing rapidly—evident from the ₹17 lakh crore of investment intent received at the Utkarsh Odisha Conclave. More than ₹2 lakh crore worth of projects have already been grounded with active government support.”

The success of the conclave, under the stewardship of Dr. Mohanty and the UCCIL leadership, has underscored their commitment to positioning Odisha as a globally competitive investment destination.

The two-day conclave witnessed participation from over 500 leaders representing industry, government, academia, financial institutions, and the startup ecosystem. Distinguished speakers from entities like HAL, ABI-Showatech, Adani Ports, SIDBI, NIST, ESSAR, IREL, IPICOL, and CTTC deliberated on crucial sectors, including manufacturing excellence, AI and emerging technologies, semiconductor opportunities, agriculture and food processing, mining and critical minerals, and skill development.

A key part of the closing ceremony was the felicitation of winners from various student competitions held during the conclave, who received cash awards, celebrating young talent and innovation.

In their closing remarks, the UCCIL leadership expressed gratitude to all partners, participants, and stakeholders, reiterating that the conclave is not just an event but a movement. The ceremony concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Dr. Brahma Mishra, Chairman, Organising Committee, Samruddha Odisha-2036.
