New Delhi: In a major push to accelerate industrialization and boost investor confidence, Odisha Chief Minister Shri Mohan Charan Majhi reaffirmed the state government’s commitment to investment-led growth during the Odisha Food Pro 2026 event held in New Delhi.
Speaking to industry leaders, the Chief Minister assured seamless facilitation, time-bound support, and continuous engagement from state administration to ensure that investment commitments transition efficiently into ground-level projects. The initiative aims to solidify Odisha’s standing as a premier destination for food processing investments, driving employment creation and fostering inclusive economic development across the state.

On the sidelines of the summit, Chief Minister Shri Majhi led a series of Government-to-Business (G2B) meetings following the signing of several key Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs). The discussions centered on expediting proposed projects, building strategic partnerships, and speeding up implementation across Odisha’s agricultural and food processing supply chain.
The high-level delegation present at the roadshow included Minister of Industries Sampad Chandra Swain and Additional Chief Secretary for Home, Industries, and Information & Public Relations, Hemant Sharma, alongside other senior state officials. The event forms part of Odisha’s broader outreach strategy to connect regional agricultural, marine, and food production resources with national and global markets.
