Cuttack: Odisha Cricket Association(OCA) will conduct a T-20 Cricket league in near future for both Men and Women in association with TCM.
Pankaj Lochan Mohanty, President, OCA and CMD MGM Minerals presided over the Apex Council Meeting of Odisha Cricket Association was held today at 6 PM at OCA complex.
In this meeting, it was resolved that, the OCA will conduct a T-20 Cricket league in near future for both Men and Women in association with TCM.
A Kit distribution ceremony will be held on 10 April 2022, which will be organized with association of Shyam Bhatia “Cricket for Care and Sri Jagannath Steel & Power Limited.
Also, it was resolved that the Odisha Cricket Association will institute a “Lifetime Achievement Award” to be awarded annually starting from this year.
For this year the award will be given to Late Prashant Mohapatra for his outstanding contribution for the gentlemen’s game of Cricket.
Along with this award, the OCA will contribute a sum of Rs. 5 Lakhs to the awardees.
Also in this meeting, the resignation of Akshay Kumar Samanta was accepted, as he has been elected for a public office, Chairman of Angul Municipal Corporation.
The Meeting ended with a vote of thanks to the chair presented by Suvasish Senapati, Elected Member, Apex Council).
Sanjay Behera, Secretary, Mehtab Khan, Joint Secretary, Bikash Pradhan, Treasurer, Abakas Khatua, Member, Rashmita Mohanty, Member and Subrat Kumar Behera, CEO were present in the meeting.
