Bhubaneswar : BJD Supremo and Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik today said that the Chief Ministers of BJP ruled States and Union Ministers are visiting Odisha only during elections so that they are political tourists.
“This time, there are some Chief Ministers and Union Ministers, who come as political tourists only at the time of elections and then they disappear. Their speeches have no effect on the people of Odisha,” Shri Patnaik said.
“And it’s most unfortunate that many of them use derogatory and abusive language. I never believe in doing that and the people of Odisha will never appreciate such language,” the Chief Minister said.
A galaxy of senior BJP leaders starting from Prime Minister Narendra Modi, to Union Ministers Amit Shah and Bhupendra Yadav, Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma, Chhattisgarh CM Vishnu Deo Sai, and Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma have been campaigning in the State for BJP candidates.
