Bhubaneswar: Political circle in Odisha is agog over the fact that Biju Janata Dal (BJD) Supremo Naveen Patnaik is a worried person today.
Shri Patnaik, who was calling shots for last 24 years in the political scenario in the State, feeling the pinch of cold approach of BJD Leaders in general and Lawmakers in particular, opine sources close to him.
So the Leader of Opposition, while entering the Odisha House expressed his unhappiness over BJD Lawmaker Sanatan Mahakud’s absence in BJD Legislature Party (BJDLP), which hold its meeting on 12 February.
Political Circle buzz is that Shri Mahakud, who runs flourishing transport business in the mineral belt of Keonjhar is now closer to Governing BJP.
Shri Mahakud said he was “indisposed off”. However such a clarification was not enough to make Naveen satisfied.
While asking Shri Mahakud about his absence in BJDLP Meeting, Shri Patnaik also asked whether he is close to BJP.
It is a known fact that Naveen is a “Man of Few Words” and he does not ask questions in public to his party men.
But there is a gut feeling of the BJD Boss that some of the disgruntled party lawmakers are closing fences with Governing BJP.
That’s why Naveen Patnaik seems worried and expressing his feeling in public.
In fact most of the BJD Lawmakers are in a “State Of Low Spirit”, that’s because they are not able to play their role as Opposition Members in the House.
So neither here or their situation making them “restless” and for which their disenchantment towards BJD Leadership is palpable, pointed out a political observer.
