Bhubaneswar: The Governing BJD today announced its ‘Star Campaigners’ for ensuing Lok Sabha and Assembly elections in the State with naming BJD Supremo and Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik and 5T Chairman Kartik Pandian at top of the list.
The party has submitted a list of 40 star campaigners for the Phase I and II of the four-phase twin elections in the State, which is scheduled for May 13 and 20.
While CM and his close aide are at the top two positions in the list, organisational secretary Pranab Prakash Das is at third position in the list.
The party has named many senior leaders for the first two phases of elections, which includes, Debi Prasad Mishra, Ranendra Pratap Swain, Niranjan Pujari, Pratap Jena, Atanu Sabyasachi Nayak, Pratap Keshari Deb, Sasmit Patra, Chiranjib Biswal, Sudhir Samal, Pradip Kumar Amat and Sanjay Das Burma.
The ruling party has named actor-turned politician, Muna Khan and Srimayee Mishra and Elina Das as Star Campaigners.
