Bhubaneswar: Veteran IFS Officer, Dr.K Murugesan has been given additional charge of Principal Chief Conservator of Forests (Nodal).
Dr.Murugesan is now serving Member Secretary Odisha State Pollution Control Board (OSPCB) has been assigned the crucial charge of PCCF(Nodal)
Dr.Murugesan, an ace environmentalist has been serving the OSPCB assignment successfully and has been given the charge of PCCF(Nodal), which is an important assignment.
PCCF(Nodal) is responsible for clearance of the projects and with the Government of Odisha headed by Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi stressing upon early clearance of infrastructure projects of Railways, Telecommunications, Road and Highways, the post assumes importance.
Government of India is also stressing upon clearance of projects at the State level, which will receive nod at the Centre.
Odisha Government has been appreciated for its faster clearance during these years.
With the presence of Dr.Murugesan at the helm of PCCF(Nodal) lot of expectation is generated in this regard.
