New Delhi: The Ministry of Minority Affairs (MoMA), in collaboration with the Press Information Bureau (PIB), successfully conducted a workshop on Media Outreach & Communication Strategies on December 5, 2025.
The session was specifically designed to enhance the Ministry’s effectiveness in communicating its various schemes and initiatives to the public.
The workshop was led by Secretary MoMA, Dr. Chandra Shekhar Kumar, a figure often described as a “Media Friendly Mandarin” for his proactive approach to communication. The event saw the participation of senior government officials from the Ministry, all focused on discussing and adopting effective communication practices.
A key focus of the discussion was the imperative to integrate new-age technologies into the Ministry’s existing communication framework. Dr. Kumar emphasized that adopting modern digital platforms and tools is crucial for strengthening MoMA’s overall outreach and maximizing its impact on the target beneficiaries.
The collaborative effort between MoMA and PIB underscores the government’s commitment to ensuring transparency and maximizing the visibility of welfare programs aimed at minority communities across the country.
