MoMA Intensifies Swachhata

New Delhi: The Ministry of Minority Affairs (MoMA) is actively engaging in Special Campaign 5.0, a nationwide initiative aimed at institutionalising Swachhata (cleanliness) and significantly reducing pendency across government offices.

The Ministry’s positive efforts are being spearheaded by Secretary Dr. Chandra Sekhar Kumar.

A core focus of MoMA during this campaign is the systematic improvement of records management. This involves a comprehensive approach to physical files, encompassing categorisation, meticulous documentation, regular review, and appropriate disposal of old or unnecessary records.

Furthermore, the Ministry is dedicated to the responsible management of electronic waste (e-waste). Efforts are underway to identify and responsibly dispose of e-waste, strictly adhering to the guidelines set forth by the Ministry of Environmental Conservation and Forestry (MoECF).

These concerted actions reflect MoMA’s commitment to creating a cleaner, more efficient, and productive workplace for all, aligning with the broader goal of governmental streamlined operations. The Ministry encourages all personnel to contribute to these important steps.
