Puri: RSS Chief Mohan Bhagwat is on a three-day tour of Odisha, which began on August 13. During his visit to Puri on Thursday, August 14, he met with Jagadguru Shankaracharya Swami Nischalananda Saraswati at Govardhan Peeth and also visited the Shree Jagannath Temple.
Earlier in the day, Shri Bhagwat was the chief guest at the Gaudiya Vaishnavism Sammilani held at the Jawaharlal Nehru Indoor Stadium in Cuttack.
While there, he commented on the stray dog situation in Delhi, stating that the problem should be addressed by controlling their population rather than confining them to shelters. He also emphasized the importance of maintaining a balance between man and nature.
This is Shri Bhagwat’s second visit to Odisha this year. He is scheduled to conclude his visit and depart on Friday, August 15.
