Bhubaneswar: Prime Minister Narendra Modi led the Vaccination 2.0 Program in the country by taking the jab, and Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik took the first dose and urged all the eligible people of the state to go for it.
While Prime Minister Narendra Modi took his first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine today, at AIIMS New Delhi, Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik took the Jab at Odisha Legislative Assembly Health Care Center.
In a tweet, the Prime Minister said, “Took my first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine at AIIMS. Remarkable how our doctors and scientists have worked in quick time to strengthen the global fight against COVID-19. I appeal to all those who are eligible to take the vaccine. Together, let us make India COVID-19 free!”
In a tweet, the Chief Minister said “Happy to share that I took first dose of #COVID19 Vaccine today. Grateful to out scientists, health workers for their race against time to deliver the vaccines to people. Appeal to eligible people to come forward and get vaccinated for a # COVID Free Odisha.
