Bhubaneswar: In a significant administrative reshuffle, senior IAS officer Saswat Mishra has been appointed as the new Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister of Odisha, Mohan Charan Majhi.
The appointment was made official through a notification issued by the General Administration & Public Grievance Department today.
Shri Mishra, who is widely recognized for his administrative acumen and deep understanding of financial matters, will continue to hold his existing crucial responsibilities as the Principal Secretary to the Government, Finance Department, and also the Chairman of the Industrial Development Corporation of Odisha (IDCO).
This dual responsibility highlights the government’s confidence in his capabilities and his pivotal role in steering the state’s financial health and industrial growth.
Shri Mishra is a seasoned bureaucrat from the 1996 batch of the Indian Administrative Service (IAS). His career has seen him hold several key positions within the Odisha government.
