Mishra Bags Stanford Ph.D

Bhubaneswar: Jatadhari Mishra, a resident of Odisha’s Kendrapara district has been conferred with the PhD in Applied Physics from Stanford, California, United States in June, 2023.

Shri Mishra’s special paper was on Nonlinear optics; photonic simulation; nanofabrication; PIC characterization; optical metrology; fiber optics; mid-infrared optics; quantum sources; dispersion engineering; ferroelectric poling; thin-film lithium niobate.

Jatadhari, son of Priti Ranjan Mishra and Aparna Mishra of Danpur village near Chandol in Kendrapara district.

Shri Mishra has now joined as Photonics Engineer at Pacific Biosciences at Mountain View, California, United States. He wants to continue in research line.

Grandson of retired school teacher Baishnab Charan Mishra, Jatadhari had joined Stanford after completion of BS-MS Dual Degree in Physics from Indian Institute of Science Education & Research (IISER), Kolkata on 2016.
