Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Shri Mohan Charan Majhi expressed profound satisfaction upon witnessing the extensive range of industrial and CSR activities showcased by the MGM Group of Industries at the prestigious Samruddha Odisha 2036 Conclave.
The Chief Minister formally inaugurated the MGM Pavilion at the event, which reportedly attracted a large volume of visitors, underscoring the Group’s importance to the state’s economic landscape.

Shri Pankaj Lochan Mohanty, the Chairman and Managing Director of the MGM Group, briefed Chief Minister Shri Majhi on the conglomerate’s multi-sectoral presence and CSR activities. Shri Mohanty is the Chairman Odisha State Development Council ASSOCHAM.
Established over eight decades ago in Odisha with a focus on mining, the Group has successfully diversified its operations into six distinct verticals, actively aligning with the state’s industrial vision.
The core business remains Mining and Integrated Steel Making, with operations spanning iron ore mines in Sundargarh and advanced steel plants in Dhenkanal and Keonjhar. The Group is pursuing forward integration and value addition within this segment.
