Leaders Unite In Devotion

Bolangir: In a significant spiritual milestone for Western Odisha, the sacred town of Bolangir witnessed a profound display of faith as the historic Maa Patneswari Temple marked its 150th year of establishment.

To commemorate this sesquicentennial anniversary, a grand Homayajna was organized within the temple premises, drawing thousands of devotees to seek the blessings of the Estadevi.

The atmosphere at the shrine was thick with the scent of sandalwood and the rhythmic chanting of Vedic hymns as the religious proceedings reached their peak.

In a beautiful moment that transcended political boundaries, prominent leaders joined the common citizens in prayer. Deputy Chief Minister and Senior BJP leader Shri Kanak Vardhan Singh Deo, alongside Bolangir MLA and Senior BJD Lawmaker Shri Kalikesh Narayan Singh Deo, stood side-by-side in the presence of the Goddess.

Both Shri Kalikesh Narayan Singh Deo and Shri Kanak Vardhan Singh Deo offered their prayers for the welfare, prosperity, and peace of all the people of Bolangir.

Their joint presence at the altar of Maa Patneswari served as a reminder of the unifying power of faith, bringing leaders together to bow before the presiding deity of the soil.

As the smoke from the holy fire rose toward the heavens, the collective prayers of the town echoed a single sentiment: the well-being of the community under the watchful eyes of the Mother.

Accompanied by Mayor Lika Sahu, the leaders participated in the sacred Purnahuti, the final offering of the puja. In this moment of pure devotion, the focus remained entirely on the divine.

The gathering was a testament to the fact that when it comes to the service of Maa Patneswari, there is no room for politics, only religion and reverence.
