Khordha: The industrial landscape of Odisha is witnessing a significant transformation as Chief Minister Shri Mohan Charan Majhi spearheaded a grand ceremony at Bhuinpur in Khordha to lay the foundation stones for several major industrial projects.
Minister Industries, Shri Sampad Swain, Bhubaneswar MP Shrimati Aparajita Sarangi and other Peoples’ Representatives were present. This event marks a pivotal moment in the state’s journey toward becoming the premier manufacturing hub of East India.
During the program, the Chief Minister emphasized that the government is moving beyond mere promises by actively implementing projects that will create extensive employment opportunities for the youth.
He noted that Odisha is currently undergoing a second industrial revolution, predicting that the coming decades will serve as a golden age for the next generation.
This industrial push is supported by a robust administrative framework. Chief Secretary Shrimati Anu Garg graced the occasion, while the Additional Chief Secretary of Home, Industries, and Information and Public Relations, Shri Hemant Sharma, played a central role in coordinating the entire show.
Shri Sharma has been operating on overdrive to attract significant investment, and his strategic planning and execution have resulted in a steady influx of investors to the state.
The current budget reflects this ambition with extensive provisions for infrastructure development designed to strengthen the industrial ecosystem and support the vision of a self-reliant India.
The integration of mega infrastructure projects like the Atal Expressway, Namo Expressway, and the Capital Region Ring Road is expected to globalize the state economy and complement the industrial surge.
By focusing on both agricultural stability and aggressive industrialization, the double-engine government is working toward the goal of a fully developed and prosperous Odisha by 2036.
