New Delhi: India achieved four-wicket win over New Zealand in the final of Champions Trophy 2025 to clinch a record third title.
Chasing 252 against the New Zealand, India reached home in 49 overs at Dubai International Cricket Stadium.
India were the joint-winners of Champions Trophy in 2002 before clinching the title again in 2013.
Now, Team India has ended the tournament with the Trophy once again in 2025.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi has expressed happiness over the win in Champions Trophy.
In his X Platform PM said “An exceptional game and an exceptional result!.
He added “Proud of our cricket team for bringing home the ICC Champions Trophy. They’ve played wonderfully through the tournament”.
Congratulations to our team for the splendid all round display, said PM Shri Modi.
