Bhubaneswar: In order to create a forum for companies, organizations and individuals with active business interests in India and Malyesia as well in other ASEAN Member States, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed here on 8 January.
MoU signed between the ASEAN India Economic Council (AIEC) and the Indian Chamber of Commerce (ICC) during the 18th Pravasi Bharatiya Divas.
The MOU was signed in presence of S Jaishankar, Minister of External Affairs and Gobind Singh Deo, Minister of Digital, Malaysia.
Chairman Dato Ramesh Kordamal and Co Chairman of Philippines Johnny Chotrani graced the occasion.
Rajib S Sahoo, Member, ICC National Executive Committee & Chairman, ICC Odisha, J B Pany, Immediate Past Chairman, ICC Odisha and Jyotiprakash Pal Regional Director-ICC was present.
This will facilitate organizing events, exchange of views, experiences as well as update Members on recent Legislative and Regulatory Developments in ASEAN Member States and India.
