Bhubaneswar: In an aim to curb illegal lifting and transportation of minor minerals, the State Government is going to rollout Integrated Minor Minerals Mines Management System (i4MS) soon.
Revenue and Disaster Management Department officials informed this to the newly appointed Minister Pramila Mallick here on Wednesday. Additional Chief Secretary (ACS) Satyabrata Sahu was also present during the interaction meeting.
Once the i4MS is launched, the entire minor mineral management will be brought under the online platform. The Department is taking steps for geo fencing of all sairat sources and implementation of vehicle tracking system, online transit pass system, Revenue officials said.
Similarly, to bring transparency in revenue inspector offices, a smart surveillance system is being implemented in the State, they said.
The Minister was briefed about the initiatives like issuance of various certificates without field verification, Digilocker, hi-tech survey and e-registration, online deposit of revenue, single window payment system, etc taken by the Department under 5T and Mo Sarkar programme.
Minister Ms.Mallick asked the officials to expedite the distribution of land rights to landless poor people for construction of houses under Vasundhara scheme. She also directed the RDC (North Division) to resolve the issues of people affected due to the construction of Hirakud dam.
Ms.Mallick also proposed to undertake plantation activity to maintain balance with the exploration of minor mineral resources. She further directed the officials for early completion of the hi-tech survey in Sundergarh and other districts and also ensure that all benefits and welfare measures of the Government are reaching to the citizens sitting in the last bench of society.
